Caregiver Training Programs: Learning Pathways

This Learning Pathway is designed for organizations funded to strengthen dementia-capable care, aging services, caregiver education, and caregiver training, as well as respite support, community health worker training, HCBS quality, early detection support, care navigation, elder safety, and community-based support for people living with cognitive impairment and their caregivers. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of mental health education for enhancing overall care.

This Learning Pathway is designed for organizations funded to strengthen direct care workforce readiness, improve HCBS quality, enhance caregiver retention, and support workforce development, including caregiver training, community health worker training, and mental health education for home- and community-based care, as well as aging and disability services.

This Learning Pathway is designed for organizations funded to strengthen whole-person care through initiatives like caregiver training, enhance behavioral health access, develop substance use referral pathways, facilitate navigation of health-related social needs, provide crisis referral, support housing stability, offer caregiver support, promote community health worker training, and improve community-based service coordination, while also prioritizing mental health education.

This Learning Pathway is designed for organizations funded to strengthen whole-person care, behavioral health access, substance use referral pathways, health-related social needs navigation, crisis referral, housing stability support, caregiver support, and the development of community health workers. It offers comprehensive caregiver training and community health worker training that can be adapted for caregivers, community health workers, direct care workers, family caregivers, direct support professionals, outreach workers, housing-support staff, respite workers, and community-based care teams, all while addressing critical mental health education and community-based service coordination.
