Delivery Format: This self-care program is delivered as a 2-hour virtual instructor-led training (VILT), including a 5-minute stretch break. Training Approach: Participants will engage in an interactive professional development experience featuring polls, chat prompts, reflection, scenario decisions, guided practice, optional role-play, and action planning. Primary Audience: The course is tailored for paid caregivers, IHSS providers, home health aides, personal care attendants, direct support professionals, family caregivers, community health workers, respite providers, and other community-based care partners. Learner Toolkit: Attendees will receive quick-reference tools, worksheets, a sustainability plan, and a customizable local-resource insert. Identify physical, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and caregiving-performance warning signs of caregiver burnout. 3. Recognize personal, family, workplace, community, and system-level contributors to burnout. 4. Select feasible self-care strategies for 2 minutes, 10 minutes, and longer recovery windows as part of an effective self-care program. 5. Use the CLEAR model to communicate a respectful boundary or request for assistance. 6. Identify at least two support resources and one organization-specific escalation pathway. 7. Develop a realistic caregiver sustainability plan. 8. Increase confidence in recognizing and responding to caregiver strain before it reaches a crisis point.
